Legacy 25/1/2014

Una semana más con las mejores barajas clasificadas en el torneo del Sábado! Esta vez de Legacy, siendo la última semana sin la inclusión de Born of the Gods, que seguro traerá alguna joya escondida. Aunque Legacy es el formato más exigente a la hora de incluir cartas nuevas.

Me gusta mucho la baraja ganadora de esta semana, en gran medida por ser el creador y piloto (tiene mucho que ver!). Pero que una baraja de creación propia funcione es algo que proporciona doble satisfacción. Desde luego lo recomiendo: tened fé en vuestros mazos y trabajad en ellos, que os lo pasaréis muy bien jugando... que al final es lo que cuenta. Si ganáis mejor, pero si no al menos os lo habréis pasado bien.

Ahora en materia, True-Name Nemesis ha encontrado en Legacy un mar donde nadar muy a gusto. Has de estar seguro de poder lidiar con él si no quieres que te pase factura. Pero desde luego el formato sigue siendo sano aún con el tritón de por medio. La casi desaparición de GW Zenith en el metagame de la tienda es algo curioso, ya que sin ellas para mantener a ralla el combo hace peligroso el auge de este. Pero Death and Taxes cumple esa misma labor así lo demostró Joel, con una versión un poco más moderna ya que incluía los temidos Leonin Arbiter y miles de cartas para evitar la búsqueda y jugar muchos hechizos en el mismo turno.

Por otra parte Sergio Garcia una semana más continúa  desenterrando cadáveres, poniendo de manifiesto que hay que respetar el cementerio y tenerlo bajo control para jugar en este formato.

En el apartado de combo del que hablábamos, este mismo sábado, encontramos varias barajas de elfos dispuestas a combar tan pronto fuera posible. El mejor clasificado fue Daniel Mojonero, pero no fue el único que eligió esta tribu para batallar. También encontramos mazos de encantadoras de plantas, aunque no consiguieron alcanzar el top. La que sí encontramos en el top es la baraja de Show and Tell, en su versión más combera, con Omnisciencia y Entrar al infinito, en manos de Alberto Domenech.

Es bonito ver cómo las cartas de las últimas colecciones se abren paso en un formato tan exigente. Hasta doce copias de Deathrite Shaman! ¿Cuál será la próxima en tener el honor de figurar entre tan magna lista? ¿Espíritu del Laberinto quizá? Espero vuestra opinión en los comentarios!
